  • HOW OFTEN SHOULD YOU BRUSH YOUR TEETH?
ANS: Brushing should be done at least twice a day. And only a soft brush is to be used. The technique with which you brush is much more important than how often its done.To know more about the brushing technique , Click on the link below…..
  • IS FLOSSING NECESSARY?
Ans: Flossing is ABSOLUTELY NECESSARY for complete oral health care. Brushing helps in cleaning all the major surfaces of the teeth. But it fails to clean in-between your teeth where there is always a tendency for food lodgment. Hence, where the bristles of the toothbrush fail, Dental Floss succeeds.

Ans: All these procedures that might cause the patient pain or discomfort is performed under local anesthesia. The pain experienced after the procedure is managed by prescribing painkillers. On any event , if the patient is in discomfort and unable to bear the pain, the procedure is discontinued and rescheduled at a later date.
  • HOW OFTEN SHOULD KIDS VISIT DENTAL CLINIC?
Ans: Kids are unable to inform us when they have any tooth pain. So the responsibility of their dental care falls on their parents. Kids should we visit dental clinic for routine check-ups from an early age of 3-4yrs. This , not only helps in catching decay early but also gives us an opportunity to give information regarding oral health care to the child as well as their parents. This step also makes the child a little more comfortable around physicians and removes the fear for the procedure. Routine check-ups should be planned every 6 months.
  • WILL TOOTH REMOVAL AFFECT ANY OTHER SENSES OF MY BODY?(EARS, EYES..etc)
Ans: During tooth removal, Only the tooth being worked on is anaesthetized and subsequently treated. NO OTHER BODY PART IS AFFECTED.
  • WHY DO OUR GUMS BLEED?
Ans: The bleeding in gums is mainly due to the hard, Calcified deposits seen on the teeth. These yellowish deposits( calculus) occur due to lack of maintenance and incorrect brushing technique. This creates an unhealthy environment around the teeth and gums which can be improved only by getting your teeth cleaned by the dentist.
  • WHAT TO DO IN CASE OF TOOTH FRACTURE DUE TO ACCIDENTS?
Ans: First and foremost, Do not panic. If the tooth appears to be broken or you have a portion of the tooth , carry it with you in milk or water or the patient’s own saliva and visit a dental clinic immediately.
  • WHAT IS BLEACHING?
Ans: Bleaching is a dental procedure wherein the shade of the teeth can be enhanced. This procedure is suggested particularly for patients that are unhappy with the existing colour of their teeth.
  • WHAT ARE DENTAL IMPLANTS?
